The Library of Kharkiv State Technical University of Agriculture contains 330000 volumes, including 82723 scientific titles and 212856 textbooks.
The scope of the Library acquisition is very wide according to the University areas of specialization. The Library contains collections relating to

mechanization and electrification of agriculture,
technical service,
processing and storage of agricultural products,
agricultural machinery maintenance,
management and marketing.
There is book exchange service on different kinds of agricultural machinery and civil engineering.
4 reading halls are available to readers.
Since 1992 the Department of Data Processing is working.
The following databases have been developed:

electronic catalogue since 1992,
works of the University employees,
articles from periodicals on the University areas of specialization,

editions on social sciences and humanities.
